Hires Boba Fett Fan Art

Versus Fan Art

Okay here is another fan art piece. A personal project I'm able to working on. Taking my time here. This one is Boba Fett versus Daredevil. I started out brainstorming with really rough thumbnails for the pose. I came up with the initial sketch. Right now I am happy with it but if I don't like it I'll just change it....no biggie. Going to handle this one in 3D and use camera animation for the final piece.

 Here's the initial sketch:

I went ahead and made a very rough animatic for the camera animation. Makes it easier to budget and analyze shots, rendering, modeling etc. 

Spawn Versus Korra the Avatar

 Returned to 2D art the last few months. I find it a good idea to get back to basics from time to time. I find that my personal digital painting style has changed now that I spend most of my time in 3D art. This was a fun personal project. Spawn versus the Avatar Korra.

John Stewart Green Lantern

I wasn't sure if I wanted to animate him later so I created a low res mesh with animate-ready topology. Partially rigged him to test out the topology. Probably won't get around to the animation, but here is fan art for John Stewart Green Lantern character.

Quick Teaser for Pandora

Time away from client's projects is spent getting as much done on Pandora as I can within this year to bring out a full animation for the first chapter.
  As I finish up the main characters for chapter 1 I put together this quick teaser:

Advertisement for Pandora

Working on a bit of an advertisement for Pandora. At the same time I was able to finalize hires mesh and textures for the main characters. Still much to do. Just getting as much as I can done within breaks in freelance projects.

 I'm a Mental Ray guy but I am beginning to learn a bit about Vray. So far a lot easier to deal with.
